Job Description

As a Medical Equipment Preparer, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all medical devices are in compliance with safety standards. This includes testing, calibrating, and preparing equipment for use in medical facilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and test medical devices before use in clinical settings.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and equipment calibration.
• Assist in the development of training materials for staff on equipment usage.
• Participate in troubleshooting and problem-solving for equipment-related challenges.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all equipment processes.
• Support inventory management of medical equipment and supplies.
• Contribute to cross-departmental collaboration to enhance service delivery.
• Provide technical support and guidance during medical emergencies.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in medical equipment preparation and maintenance
