Job Description

As an Auditor at Leading Audit Firm in Cape Town, you'll play a vital role in analyzing financial data to ensure compliance with regulations and laws. The ideal candidate should possess strong attention to detail and proficiency in auditing standards.

Responsibilities

  • Assess financial documents and records systematically for accuracy.
  • Draft detailed audit reports that highlight key observations.
  • Assist management in risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
  • Engage with various stakeholders to facilitate effective audits.
  • Oversee the execution of audit assignments to ensure quality.
  • Provide oversight and mentorship to junior auditing personnel.
  • Participate in external audit activities as required.
  • Collaborate on team projects to improve overall audit efficiency.
  • Prepare for and attend audit planning meetings to discuss objectives.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Auditing
  • Master's degree is advantageous
Experience
  • 4+ years of experience in auditing or finance
