Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our team in Tshwane. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in civil engineering design and project management. You will play a key role in the planning, design, and oversight of various construction projects, ensuring compliance with all regulations.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed engineering designs and ensure technical accuracy.
• Perform calculations and analyses to support design decisions.
• Collaborate with environmental specialists to address sustainability concerns.
• Review and approve project plans and specifications prepared by team members.
• Coordinate with local authorities and regulatory bodies for project permits.
• Participate in post-project evaluations to improve future designs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Civil Engineering preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in civil engineering

Technical Skills

• Structural Analysis Software (e.g., SAP2000)
• Geotechnical Engineering Principles

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Attention to Detail

Certifications

• Registered Professional Engineer (RPE)
• PMP Certification is a plus

Languages

• English: Fluent
