Responsibilities
Prepare and serve meals to passengers according to their preferences and dietary requirements.
Maintain a clean and hygienic dining area at all times.
Ensure all meals are presented in an attractive and professional manner.
Interact with passengers to ensure satisfaction with their dining experience.
Manage inventory and order supplies as needed.
Assist in the setup and breakdown of the dining car before and after service.
Train and supervise other dining car staff to uphold service standards.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to the dining experience.
Ensure compliance with food safety guidelines and regulations.
Assist in creating a welcoming atmosphere for passengers.
Requirements
Education
Matric certificate
Relevant hospitality or catering qualification is advantageous
Experience
No prior experience required, but previous hospitality or catering experience is advantageous.
