Job Description

As a Clinical Psychologist with Mental Health Solutions in Johannesburg, you will engage in therapeutic sessions with clients, providing essential mental health support and contributing to community mental wellness initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Administer psychological tests and assess client needs.
  • Create tailored therapy programs and set measurable goals.
  • Facilitate one-on-one and group therapy sessions.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups and adapt treatment strategies as needed.
  • Work together with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive care.
  • Advise clients on coping mechanisms and self-care strategies.
  • Document treatment process and client feedback thoroughly.
  • Contribute to community outreach programs and workshops.
  • Research and implement new therapeutic techniques.
  • Respond effectively to urgent client situations or crises.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Clinical Psychology
  • Postgraduate training or internship in clinical psychology is an asset.
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in clinical settings.
