ESL Language Instructor

Job Description

We are seeking a passionate ESL Language Instructor to join our dynamic team in Durban. In this role, you will be responsible for teaching English as a second language to both adults and children. The ideal candidate should have a strong grasp of the English language, superb communication skills, and a creative approach to teaching. You will engage students through various teaching methodologies and help them achieve their language goals.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver lessons that cater to the needs of students.
• Track and report on student progress and learning outcomes.
• Support a positive classroom atmosphere that fosters student engagement.
• Incorporate cultural elements into lessons to enrich student learning.
• Provide one-on-one support to students as needed.
• Lead assessment and examination processes to evaluate learners' skills.
• Collaborate with other instructors to share best practices.
• Cultivate a productive learning environment conducive to language acquisition.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Linguistics or Education
• Advanced TESOL certification is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience teaching ESL

Languages
