Public Relations Officer

Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Public Relations Officer to be the voice of our brand. You will be responsible for developing PR strategies, managing media relations, and enhancing our public image through targeted campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Strategize and manage all internal and external communications.
• Maintain a positive public image for the company.
• Write articles, reports, and other publications for the media.
• Oversee the production of promotional videos and materials.
• Conduct interviews and prepare spokespersons for media appearances.
• Evaluate and enhance public relations strategies.
• Support crisis communication efforts as needed.
• Collaborate on marketing projects to promote our brand.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Communications or Marketing
• Master's degree in Communications or related field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a PR role

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Bilingual: Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Afrikaans.
• Experience in non-profit organizations: Previous work experience in the non-profit sector is highly desirable.
