Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Consultant to join our dedicated team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have expertise in environmental assessments, sustainability practices, and compliance regulations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate environmental risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Assist clients with environmental certifications and audits.
• Conduct feasibility studies for sustainable initiatives.
• Review and advise on project designs to enhance environmental performance.
• Engage in community outreach to promote sustainability programs.
• Provide expert testimony or reports during regulatory hearings, if necessary.
• Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of environmental metrics.
• Foster relationships with environmental regulatory bodies and organizations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Management or related field
• Postgraduate qualification is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in environmental consulting or project management roles
