Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Mental Health Counselor to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will provide counselling and support to individuals facing mental health challenges, using evidence-based techniques and a person-centred approach.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement treatment strategies based on evidence-based practices.
  • Document client progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  • Engage in continuous professional development.
  • Advocate for clients' mental health needs within the community.
  • Encourage clients to set and achieve personal goals.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Clinical Psychology or Social Work
  • Registered with the HPCSA
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in mental health counselling
