Job Description

We are looking for a General Practitioner to be part of our healthcare team in Pietermaritzburg. You will be responsible for providing medical consultations, treatment plans, and follow-up care, prioritizing the well-being of patients in the community.

Responsibilities

• Examine and assess patients to determine healthcare needs.
• Develop management plans tailored to individual patient requirements.
• Engage patients in discussions regarding their health and treatment options.
• Ensure comprehensive documentation of patient interactions.
• Participate in health programs and outreach activities.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of treatment regimens.
• Conduct emergency medical procedures when necessary.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent medical degree
• Postgraduate diploma in General Practice preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of clinical experience in primary care
