Job Description

We are seeking a Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. You will play a pivotal role in designing and overseeing construction projects, ensuring structural integrity and compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and experience in various building materials.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop structural systems for various construction projects.
  • Conduct structural analysis using software and manual calculations.
  • Collaborate with architects and other engineering disciplines.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international building codes.
  • Prepare detailed drawings and specifications.
  • Supervise construction sites to ensure project specifications are met.
  • Perform site inspections and assessments.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide technical guidance.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to structural integrity.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Structural Engineering is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in structural design and management
