Weigher Operator

Job Description

As a Weigher Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate measurement and weighing of materials in our production environment. You will be responsible for operating weighing equipment, maintaining standards of safety and quality, and promoting a clean working environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate weighing of incoming and outgoing goods.
• Monitor and adjust scales as necessary to maintain accuracy.
• Maintain detailed records of weights and measures.
• Adhere strictly to operational SOPs.
• Work closely with the sorters and samplers in the warehouse.
• Develop a thorough understanding of different types of weighing equipment.
• Report any equipment malfunctions to management immediately.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Relevant technical qualification in manufacturing or production

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role

Technical Skills

• Attention to detail
• Mathematical skills
• Weighing equipment software

Soft Skills

• Ability to work under pressure

Certifications

• Certification in operating weighing equipment

Languages

• English: Fluent
