Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality patient care, conducting assessments, and creating treatment plans. You should be skilled in both clinical and interpersonal communication to effectively interact with patients and their families.

Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed patient assessments and develop care plans.
  • Prescribe medication and treatments within scope of practice.
  • Foster a supportive and empathetic rapport with patients.
  • Ensure seamless care transitions and follow-ups.
  • Contribute to the training and mentoring of junior staff.
  • Participate in ongoing educational activities to stay updated.
  • Collaborate on case management and healthcare outcomes.
  • Actively participate in community health initiatives.
  • Review and enhance procedural protocols for improved care.
  • Assist in the management of clinic operations.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • Master's degree is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of clinical practice, including Nurse Practitioner experience
