Exciting opportunity for a DevOps Engineer in Cape Town. In this role, you will be responsible for managing our infrastructure, automating processes, and contributing to the software development lifecycle. A strong understanding of container orchestration and cloud services will be essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

• Develop scripts to automate backup and recovery strategies for critical systems.
• Work with teams to gather requirements for new infrastructure and system changes.
• Research and implement new tools and technologies to improve system efficiencies.
• Create documentation for infrastructure and operational processes for future reference.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements through thorough monitoring and reporting.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps role or similar.
