Job Description

As an Automotive and Watercraft Service Attendant, you will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and servicing tanker trucks. Your role will include cleaning the vehicles, performing safety checks, and assisting in loading and unloading operations. We are seeking reliable individuals who can work effectively in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections and maintenance on tanker trucks.
• Perform cleaning tasks for the vehicles.
• Carry out safety checks before and after handling hazardous materials.
• Assist with logistical tasks during loading and unloading.
• Document service details and maintenance records accurately.
• Collaborate with colleagues to address issues with tanker operations.
• Assist in training new team members as required.
• Report any maintenance needs or safety concerns to management.

Requirements

Education

• Valid Driver's License

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in tanker truck servicing.

Technical Skills

• Experience with hazardous materials handling
• Basic computer skills

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

Advantageous

• Experience with emergency response protocols: Knowledge and experience in emergency procedures will be an asset.
• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans: Ability to communicate in both English and Afrikaans is preferred.
