Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee our Johannesburg operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing warehouse staff, optimizing operational processes, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods. You will play a crucial role in maintaining inventory accuracy and driving efficiency within the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of warehouse metrics.
• Oversee maintenance and organization of the warehouse facilities.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and increased efficiency.
• Lead initiatives to improve accuracy and reduce errors in inventory management.
• Promote a culture of safety and adherence to workplace regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
• MBA is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years in a management role within a warehouse or logistics environment

Technical Skills

• Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Quality Control

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Certification
• Forklift Safety Training

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with Lean principles: Experience with Lean methodologies for process improvement.
