Job Description

We are seeking skilled Prepress Technicians to join our vibrant team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in prepress processes, including typesetting, image editing, and proofing, ensuring high-quality output for our printing projects.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate prepress equipment efficiently.
• Collaborate with graphic designers on artwork and layout adjustments.
• Ensure all files are print-ready, verifying color accuracy and other specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on prepress machines.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in artwork or files.
• Support the production team in achieving tight deadlines.
• Manage digital files and documentation for all projects.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for the prepress process.
• Document processes and create standard operating procedures.
• Engage in team meetings to discuss production goals.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in Graphic Design or related fields is an advantage

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in prepress or printing environments

• Adobe Creative Suite

Certifications

Languages
