Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will ensure that our software products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. You will be responsible for developing and executing test plans, identifying and reporting defects, and working closely with developers to improve our processes.

Responsibilities

• Create testing schedules to ensure timely delivery of quality products.
• Utilize testing frameworks and tools to execute tests efficiently.
• Mentor junior QA team members in testing best practices.
• Analyze testing metrics and provide insights for future projects.
• Collaborate with product managers to align testing efforts with business goals.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and technologies in QA.
• Identify areas for automation and lead automation initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• ISTQB Advanced Level Certification is preferable

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in quality assurance methodologies

• Performance Testing Tools

Certifications

• Certified Agile Tester

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in test automation frameworks: Hands-on experience with frameworks like TestNG or JUnit.
