As a Restaurant Manager, you will oversee all aspects of restaurant operations in Cape Town. Your key responsibilities will include maintaining effective staff management, delivering outstanding guest service, and driving revenue growth. Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of restaurant operations to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Directly supervise staff, ensuring top-notch service and team productivity.
  • Monitor compliance with health and safety standards, prioritizing cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Develop strategies for increasing revenue, including special events and promotions.
  • Maintain stock levels and place orders for kitchen and bar supplies.
  • Handle guest inquiries and feedback, ensuring outstanding customer experiences.
  • Conduct regular staff training on service standards and menu knowledge.
  • Prepare and track budgets and financial performance metrics.
  • Promote a positive and motivating atmosphere for all team members.
  • Collaborate with upper management on operational improvements and initiatives.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Culinary Arts or Hospitality Management
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration is an asset
Experience
  • 4-6 years of experience in restaurant management or hospitality
