Job Description

Seeking a results-driven Public Health Specialist to oversee health programs that impact the local community positively. The ideal candidate will engage with partners, analyze health data, and work on strategic plans to address public health challenges in Pretoria.

Responsibilities

• Conduct epidemiological research and health impact assessments.
• Oversee the implementation of health promotion campaigns.
• Coordinate with governmental and non-governmental organizations.
• Evaluate community health interventions for quality improvement.
• Engage with the community to understand health challenges.
• Advise on health policy issues impacting the community.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Public Health preferred
• Bachelor's in Health Sciences acceptable

Experience

• 5+ years of comprehensive experience in public health roles

Certifications

• Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES)
• Lean Six Sigma Certification is advantageous
