We are looking for a Pharmacist to support our operations in Cape Town. This role involves overseeing pharmacy activities, ensuring the safe distribution of medications, and providing comprehensive patient education. If you are passionate about healthcare, we want you on our team!

Responsibilities

• Oversee the pharmacy's operations and staff.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Assist patients in choosing over-the-counter medication.
• Keep up-to-date with new pharmaceutical products and trends.
• Support the pharmacy manager in daily administrative tasks.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or relevant field

Experience

• 2+ years of experience as a pharmacist, preferably in a retail setting

Technical Skills

• Pharmacology
• Medication Management

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Registered Pharmacist with the South African Pharmacy Council
• CPR and First Aid Certified

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

Advantageous

• Experience in a retail pharmacy environment: Familiarity with retail pharmacy protocols and customer service.
• Bilingual: Proficiency in other local languages is a bonus.
