Responsibilities

• Evaluate and document the patient’s response to care and interventions.
• Participate in patient care rounds and discuss patient needs.
• Assist with training and mentoring of junior nursing staff.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene and infection control protocols.
• Collaborate with pharmacy for medication management.
• Deliver culturally competent care respecting diverse backgrounds.
• Contribute to organizational policies and procedures for better care.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelors of Nursing (BCur)
• Registered Nursing qualification (SANC)

Experience

• 3+ years of nursing experience in a hospital or clinical setting

• Emergency Care
• Patient Assessment

Certifications

• CPR Certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational
