Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic Dentist to provide high-quality dental treatments in our Johannesburg clinic. You will be responsible for performing routine checkups, fillings, extractions, and ensuring each patient receives personalized care.

Responsibilities

• Carry out dental assessments and examinations.
• Provide restorative care including fillings and crowns.
• Educate patients regarding oral health practices.
• Supervise dental assistants in their duties.
• Assist in the development of dental health programs.
• Monitor and manage inventory of dental supplies.
• Participate in staff meetings to discuss patient care and improvements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS)
• Specialization in Oral Surgery is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of relevant dental experience

Technical Skills

• Oral Surgery
• Restorative Dentistry

Soft Skills

• Detail-oriented
• Empathy

Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Conversational

• Experience managing dental assistants: Skills in supervising and training dental support staff.
• Knowledge of orthodontics: Experience with braces and aligning techniques.
