Pharmacy Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy operations in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will assist pharmacists in dispensing medications, managing inventory, and providing excellent customer service to our patients.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with pharmacists to dispense medications effectively.
• Support inventory management by tracking expiration dates and reordering stock.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized pharmacy environment.
• Educate patients about medications and answer their questions.
• Help to resolve prescription-related issues and discrepancies.
• Contribute to the pharmacy's overall customer satisfaction.
• Participate in continuing education and training programs to enhance skills.

Advantageous

• Experience in compounding and sterile products: Knowledge in preparing sterile medications and compounding.
• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans: Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Afrikaans.
