Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Veterinary Surgeon to join our Pretoria clinic. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in veterinary medicine and a passion for animal care. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating various animal health issues, performing surgeries, and providing preventive healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat various medical conditions affecting animals.
• Carry out emergency surgeries and critical care when needed.
• Advise pet owners on nutrition, behaviour, and health management.
• Ensure compliance with veterinary regulations and ethical standards.
• Participate in research and discussions on veterinary best practices.
• Help in the training and mentoring of junior veterinary staff.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine
• Master's degree in Veterinary Surgery or related field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in small animal practice preferred
