Job Description

As our Production Manager, you will take charge of the entire production process within our Pretoria facility. Your role will involve planning production schedules, supervising staff, and ensuring that we meet operational targets. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is adept at managing multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Direct the production process, ensuring adherence to schedules.
  • Manage resources and maximize efficiency in production operations.
  • Evaluate production costs and identify cost-saving measures.
  • Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery of materials.
  • Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
  • Review and approve production reports and documentation.
  • Address employee concerns and provide constructive feedback.
  • Develop strategies to enhance productivity and reduce downtime.
  • Lead training sessions on new procedures and technologies.
  • Act as a liaison between management and production staff.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Management or a related field
  • Relevant certifications are favourable

  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
