Seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead our financial strategy in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in guiding financial operations, ensuring compliance, and providing strategic insights to enhance profitability.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the financial closing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Advise on tax planning and compliance strategies to optimize tax liabilities.
• Review financial policies and processes for continuous improvement.
• Prepare presentations for the executive team on financial performance and projections.
• Assist in strategic planning and decision-making initiatives.
• Liaise with banks and financial institutions for financing arrangements.
• Conduct audits and identify areas for cost reduction.
• Lead financial integration activities for mergers and acquisitions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
• Master's degree in Financial Management preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a financial supervisory role
