We are seeking a dedicated Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team in Port Elizabeth. This role involves protecting our organization’s systems and data from cyber threats. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity protocols, risk assessment, and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee implementation of security systems and controls.
• Evaluate and recommend security technologies and solutions.
• Perform incident response and forensic analysis when required.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security initiatives.
• Assist in the development of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Engage in continuous improvement of security processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• Relevant security certifications preferred

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security
