Responsibilities

• Manage acute and chronic illnesses in patients of all ages.
• Offer preventative health care and wellness advice.
• Engage in health education and promotion within the community.
• Document patient interactions and health outcomes in EMR.
• Perform minor surgical procedures as needed.
• Participate in case reviews and quality assurance activities.
• Advise patients on healthy lifestyle choices.
• Support colleagues in a multidisciplinary team setting.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB degree
• Diploma in Family Medicine is an added advantage

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in a clinical or hospital environment

• Computer literacy

Certifications

• HPCSA Registration
• Certified in Occupational Health

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational
