We are on the lookout for a Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Durban. The successful candidate will be involved in creating and improving mechanical systems, from concept to execution. This role demands a strong understanding of engineering principles, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with other specialists.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering projects from conception to completion.
• Develop project schedules and budgets to ensure efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Analyze data and provide recommendations based on findings.
• Assist in the training and mentoring of junior engineers.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in the field

Technical Skills

• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• AutoCAD

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Collaboration

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt

Languages

• English: Fluent
