• Maintain a positive and structured learning environment.
• Offer guidance to teaching assistants and support staff.
• Contribute to the school's special education programs and initiatives.
• Attend team meetings and case conferences to discuss student progress.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant educational policies and regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Education with a focus on special needs
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a special education setting

• Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Development

Certifications

• First Aid and CPR Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Sepedi: Conversational
