Job Description

We are seeking a talented Landscape Architect to join our growing team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will work on diverse projects, focusing on creating functional, aesthetic, and sustainable outdoor environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design process from initial concept through to construction.
• Collaborate on multidisciplinary projects and ensure design integrity throughout.
• Conduct environmental assessments and sustainability evaluations.
• Present design proposals to clients and stakeholders.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff.
• Implement innovative landscaping solutions that promote biodiversity.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in landscape architecture or a related field

• AutoCAD
• SketchUp
• Adobe Creative Suite
• GIS Software

Soft Skills

• Communication

Certifications

• Registered Landscape Architect (RLA)
• LEED Accreditation is an advantage

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

• Knowledge of local flora and fauna: Good grasp of indigenous plant species and their uses in landscaping.
