IT Support Specialist

Job Description

Join our team as an IT Support Specialist! In this role, you will provide first-class IT support while working closely with our clients to resolve their technical issues. Your expertise in networking, hardware, and software troubleshooting will be key to our success.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level support to clients via phone, email, and in-person.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
• Maintain and update IT documentation and user manuals.
• Set up and configure new hardware and software for users.
• Monitor and manage IT ticketing systems.
• Assist with the installation and configuration of IT systems.
• Provide training and support to end-users on software applications.
• Maintain inventory of IT assets and supplies.
• Implement and support cybersecurity measures.
• Collaborate with other IT team members to enhance service delivery.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma or degree in Information Technology or related field
• Relevant IT certifications (e.g. A+, CompTIA) are advantageous

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in IT support or a related field
