UX Designer

Job Description

We're looking for an innovative UX Designer to join our Cape Town office. The role requires a keen eye for aesthetics and detail, as well as a deep understanding of user behavior. You’ll be responsible for creating user journeys that make our tools accessible, efficient, and enjoyable. If you're passionate about design and user experience, we want you on our team!

Responsibilities

• Lead design workshops to gather insights from stakeholders and users.
• Work closely with product managers to define project scopes and objectives.
• Optimize designs for responsiveness across different devices.
• Evaluate analytics data to inform design iterations and enhancements.
• Facilitate discussions on design solutions with team members and stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design or related field
• Master's degree in Design is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in UX/UI design

Technical Skills

• Adobe Creative Suite
• Figma
• User Research

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Collaboration

Certifications

• Certified UX Designer
• Interaction Design Foundation Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with HTML/CSS/JavaScript: Understanding of front-end development for improved collaboration with developers.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies: Experience working within Agile frameworks.
