Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Officer to join our vibrant team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in managing employee relations, recruitment processes, and implementing HR policies. This role is critical to ensuring a supportive work environment and fostering a culture of inclusivity and growth within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the recruitment cycle from job description creation to candidate selection.
  • Develop and implement effective employee engagement strategies.
  • Monitor and address employee satisfaction and retention metrics.
  • Manage payroll and benefits administration.
  • Conduct regular training sessions on HR policies and compliance.
  • Assist in formulating organizational development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with management to align HR strategies with business objectives.
  • Prepare HR reports for management review.
  • Advise staff on HR-related queries and concerns.
  • Facilitate conflict resolution and mediation where necessary.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resources or Industrial Relations
  • Relevant certifications in HR management are highly desirable
Experience
  • 5 years of experience in HR, preferably in a generalist role
