Job Description

We are seeking dedicated individuals for the role of Blast Driller. This position involves using advanced drilling machinery to accurately create blast holes, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Utilize various types of drilling equipment to execute drilling operations safely.
• Conduct regular checks on drilling machinery to avoid downtime and accidents.
• Work in liaison with geologists and engineers to achieve drilling goals.
• Participate in quality control measures to ensure precise hole dimensions.
• Adhere to all environmental and safety regulations while performing duties.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
• Provide assistance and support to junior team members as needed.
• Report any incidents or irregularities to the Mining Supervisor immediately.

Requirements

Education

• Technical Certificate in Mining Operations

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a similar role.

Technical Skills

• GPS and Surveying Tools
• Maintenance Skills

Certifications

• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
