Job Description

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Consultant to join our dynamic team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of security protocols and threat management, ensuring our clients' information systems are secure against risks and vulnerabilities.

Responsibilities

• Implement technical controls to protect sensitive data.
• Participate in security assessments and penetration testing.
• Advise on compliance with cybersecurity regulations and standards.
• Develop incident response strategies and playbooks.
• Lead incident response activities in the event of a security breach.
• Engage with external security partners and vendors as needed.
• Provide mentorship and training to junior team members.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field
• Relevant certifications are highly preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity roles
