DevOps Engineer

Job Description

Are you an experienced DevOps Engineer? We want you on our team in Cape Town! In this role, you will advocate for best practices in continuous integration and continuous deployment, helping to manage system outages and ensure smooth operations of our applications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all CI/CD processes to ensure rapid deployment.
• Establish best practices for DevOps and CI/CD integration within teams.
• Assist in migration of critical systems to cloud infrastructure.
• Provide insights and recommendations for improving system architecture.
• Conduct root cause analysis following incidents and outages.
• Collaborate with the IT security team to maintain compliance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• Postgraduate qualification in related fields is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role

• Azure

Certifications

• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
• Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert

Languages

• English: Fluent
