Job Description

As a Teller at ABC Bank, you’ll be at the forefront of customer service, performing financial transactions such as deposits and withdrawals, while ensuring accuracy and adherence to banking regulations. Responsibilities

• Manage daily cash transactions and maintain cash drawer.
• Provide support during peak banking hours to ensure quick service.
• Collaborate with the branch team to enhance service efficiency.
• Educate and assist clients with digital banking tools and services.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge of banking products.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting is preferred

Experience

• Experience working in a banking or financial institution (preferred)

Technical Skills

• Cash handling equipment operation

Soft Skills

• Confidentiality
• Team collaboration

Advantageous

• Experience with customer relationship management software: Knowledge of tools for managing client interactions and data.
• Understanding of financial regulations: Knowledge of pertinent financial regulations in South Africa.
