Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated nurse to join our team in Pretoria. In this role, you'll be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and making a significant impact in patients' lives.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient status and report any changes to the supervising nurse or physician.
• Participate in patient discharge planning and follow-up care.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
• Assist in training and mentoring new nursing staff and interns.
• Identify patient needs and collaborate with healthcare providers to address care gaps.
• Engage in patient advocacy to uphold ethical considerations in care delivery.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies and ensure proper equipment usage.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Specialization in Critical Care Nursing is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a hospital environment

• Clinical Assessment

Certifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Beginner

• Experience with Patient Education Programs: Experience in developing and providing patient education sessions.
