Job Description

As a Stockroom Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations of the stockroom, ensuring efficient inventory management and smooth stock flow. You will lead a team responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing stock, while maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day stockroom operations and staff.
• Ensure timely receipt and proper storage of inventory.
• Conduct regular stock checks and maintain accurate records.
• Optimize stockroom layout for efficient operations.
• Mentor stockroom staff in inventory management procedures.
• Liaise with other departments for smooth stock flow.
• Implement safety protocols and ensure adherence.
• Troubleshoot and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Oversee the use of stock management systems.

Requirements

Education

• Matric Certificate
• Degree in Supply Chain Management is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in stock management or warehouse supervision

Languages
