Job Description

We are seeking an Environmental Engineer to join our growing team in Cape Town. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing projects that promote environmental sustainability. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to conduct assessments, manage projects, and ensure compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement environmental management plans.
• Conduct environmental assessments and audits.
• Collaborate with project teams to integrate sustainability practices.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and national environmental regulations.
• Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders.
• Advise on pollution prevention, waste reduction, and resource conservation.
• Lead community engagement initiatives on environmental matters.
• Monitor project impacts and propose mitigation measures.
• Conduct site visits and inspections.
• Stay updated with emerging trends in environmental regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in environmental engineering or consulting
