Job Description

As an Actuary in our Johannesburg office, you will be responsible for evaluating financial risks and creating statistical models to support our insurance products. Your strong quantitative skills and understanding of market trends will be vital in shaping our business strategies and enhancing overall performance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare actuarial valuations and financial forecasts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Conduct sensitivity analyses to assess the impact of varying assumptions.
• Identify and implement improvements to actuarial procedures.
• Present findings to senior management and stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or Statistics
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in insurance or financial industries

• Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA)
