Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Special Education Teacher to work with secondary students. The ideal candidate will teach sign language to deaf and hard-of-hearing students, create effective lesson plans, and provide individualized support to help our students achieve academic success.

Responsibilities

• Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment for all students.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate with parents regarding their child's development.
• Utilize various teaching strategies to accommodate different learning abilities.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Education or a related field is preferred

Experience

• Experience working with deaf and hard-of-hearing students is an advantage

Languages

• English: Fluent
• South African Sign Language (SASL): Fluent
