Neurodiagnostic Technologist (EEG Tech)

Job Description

As a Neurodiagnostic Technologist, you will be responsible for conducting EEG tests to measure the electrical activity of the brain. This role requires a solid understanding of EEG procedures and the ability to work effectively with patients to ensure comfort and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Administer EEG procedures while ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace and equipment.
• Communicate effectively with patients regarding their comfort.
• Adjust the EEG equipment settings as needed for each patient.
• Assist in conducting other diagnostic evaluations as required.
• Engage in quality assurance measures to enhance service delivery.
• Support team members in achieving departmental objectives.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant certification in Neurodiagnostic Technology or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a clinical setting

Technical Skills

• Data Analysis
• Familiarity with Medical Software

Certifications

• Advanced Neurodiagnostic Technology Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

Advantageous
