Job Description

As a Chief Sustainability Officer, you will spearhead initiatives to reduce carbon emissions and enhance sustainability practices within our organisation. You'll work closely with all departments to implement strategies that align with our corporate responsibility goals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of sustainability policies.
  • Conduct assessments to identify improvement areas in sustainability practices.
  • Drive energy and waste reduction initiatives across the organisation.
  • Stay informed about the latest sustainability trends and best practices.
  • Provide ongoing training and support for staff on sustainability measures.
  • Cultivate relationships with external partners to enhance sustainability efforts.
  • Prepare detailed reports on sustainability progress for leadership.
  • Ensure adherence to environmental regulations and standards.
  • Coordinate sustainability-related projects and initiatives.
  • Develop promotional materials to highlight sustainability efforts.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
  • Postgraduate degree in Sustainability Management preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in sustainability projects and policy implementation
