Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our Pretoria team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in cloud technologies, CI/CD processes, and automation tools, playing a crucial role in optimizing our development and operational workflows.

Responsibilities

• Automate deployment, monitoring, and scaling of applications using cloud technologies.
• Work closely with development teams to improve existing processes.
• Build and maintain tools for automation and CI/CD workflows.
• Oversee performance tuning and optimization of cloud environments.
• Provide support for production systems and applications.
• Assist in the development of cloud architecture and best practices.
• Mentor junior team members and share best practices.
• Prepare reports on uptime and performance metrics.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in DevOps or CI/CD environments

Technical Skills

• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Monitoring Tools (Prometheus, Grafana)

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Google Professional Cloud Architect
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
