Responsibilities

• Administer first aid and emergency care as needed.
• Manage patient care in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
• Participate in patient rounds and contribute to care planning.
• Perform routine lab tests and interpret results correctly.
• Assist in training and mentoring new nursing staff.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in critical care or emergency nursing

Certifications

• Pediatrics Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred
• Triage Certification preferred

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

Advantageous

• Certification in Geriatric Nursing: Preferred certification in geriatric care management.
• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans: Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Afrikaans.
