DevOps Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our Bloemfontein team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines, automating deployment processes, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of our systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cloud platforms, infrastructure as code, and experience with container orchestration tools.

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Analyze system logs and metrics to optimize performance.
• Collaborate with teams to define system architecture and design.
• Ensure up-to-date security practices and protocols are applied.
• Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
• Provide training and support for team members on DevOps practices.
• Research and integrate new technologies that can enhance business processes.
• Prepare reports on system performance and improvements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Certified in DevOps methodologies is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cloud technology and DevOps
