We are looking for a skilled Civil Engineer to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have experience with a variety of civil engineering projects, demonstrating strong analytical skills and technical proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Engage in the full project lifecycle, including conceptual design, detailing, and execution.
• Ensure adherence to deadlines, budgets, and project specifications.
• Interact with local authorities for project approvals and inspections.
• Analyze project costs and develop cost-effective solutions.
• Foster teamwork and collaboration across all engineering disciplines.
• Involve in research and development of new engineering methods.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior engineering staff.
• Promote health and safety measures on sites by enforcing regulations.
• Utilize AutoCAD and other design software proficiently.
• Encourage sustainable practices in project design and execution.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Master’s degree in a related field is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of practical engineering experience

Technical Skills

• Structural Analysis Software
• Geotechnical Engineering

Certifications

• Certified Civil Engineer (CCE)
• Safety Management Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
